Prerequisite: Any Module 1 Training
About: In this 3 day training participants will learn how to teach TRE® to others, how to utilize touch and non-touch interventions, and further deepen their own understanding of the biological and theoretical underpinnings of TRE®. Personal tremoring sessions are a hallmark of this training.
The purpose of Module 2 is to learn how to teach TRE® to others and deepen your own practice. Module Two (2) is a face-to-face, 3-day training, done in a group setting, which will include:
- Deepening of module 1 content
- Debrief of practice-teaching experiences
- Role of fascia in TRE
- TRE basic interventions (touch and non-touch energy expanding interventions)
- TRE modifications
- Understanding “use of self” when teaching the TRE process
- Working within your scope of practice, knowledge, and competency
- Ethical awareness
Applications for 18 CEUs for counselors, psychologists, and social workers will be submitted, but nonprofessionals are encouraged to register too!
About the trainer: Jay Gleason has been a psychotherapist since 1998. He is trained in multiple somatic and mindfulness-based treatments including EMDR. He is a Certified Massage Therapist and a Certification Trainer (trainer of trainers) for TRE®.
